Childhood:
Reiko grew up as a ninja student in Shimogakure. Not wanting to hurt others he decided to focus on learning Medical ninjutsu, so he could support his team rather than hurting others.

Time Skip:
Continuing to be taught by Kotaro in Team 13,5, Reiko started aiming for becoming a full time medic and started being a support member for a number of other teams when they went on difficult missions.

Shippuden:
After becoming a full time medic ninja, Reiko did part time at the hospital when he wasn't called out to support on missions. He is currently doing medical service in the war.

Kotaro was Reiko's teacher. Reiko trusted him and talked more with him than the rest of the team, even though he was still very quiet.

Masami is Reiko's old team mate. Reiko was scared that she would punch him.

Takako is Reiko's old team mate. Reiko considered her a close friend.

Personality:
Reiko is a shy and kind boy. He prefers keeping to himself and would never even dream of hurting anyone, he has difficulties to stand up for himself. Reiko is somewhat a scaredy-cat when it comes to people and horror stories, but has shown that he instead is not at all afraid of seeing nasty things that others would find scary and he doesn't even flinch when he is met by sights of horrible wounds, dead bodies, masses of body fluids or descriptions of or sight of torture devices and methods. He is often stuttering while talking to others, unless he is talking about medicine.
